ARRL VE "Last Chance Extra" Test Session Saturday, June 30th, 2012.

|
| VE Manny Troitino - KC2VMS |
We
Call this VE Session "Last Chance Saturday" because on Sunday July 1st, 2012 (the next day) the Extra Class
exam changed to all new questions.

This was the very last chance someone who studied
the old pool could become an extra without starting on the new question pool of over 700 questions.

The
Yonkers PAL Ham Radio Club was the only ARRL VE test session in the greater New York City area to be testing on
this day.

After realizing we were testing on June 30th, ARRL
Hudson Division Director Joyce Birmingham passed our info on to inquiring hams.

We
would like to thank Director Birrimingham for helping Hams everywhere with her foward thinking.

|
| VE's Stan Rothman - WA2NRV & Paul Maytan - AC2T |
The result was Lowell S. Vant Slot driving from Lords
Valley, PA to Yonkers, NY. This is a 105 mile 2 hour drive each way!
